I recently bought MSI GX720..
I'm not at all Sure if its Centrino 2 or not.
I used CPUZ to identify it it shows the logo of INTEL CORE 2 DUO..
Processor Name Intel mobile core 2 duo P7350
Code Name Penryn..
If its Centrino 2 it should show the logo of Centrino 2 right??Please Anyone help me out on this..

basically a Certrino 2 processor , intel chipset , intel wifi , thats it.
I think the P7350 is Certrino 2 -
the chipset is INtel PM45

ERRR : Pentium III ? , I would stop right there.
Use CPU-Z or PCwizard or Sandra Lite, all free.
What WiFi card do you have, if it`s not INTEL you do not have Centrino 2, It`s just a brand name! -
Thts whats shocking me too... I just dun get it.. the Wifi is Intel,

Intel mobile chipset (aka Cantiga - models: GL40, GS45, GM45, GM47 or PM45)
+ Intel CPU (aka Penryn - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Intel_Core_2_microprocessors)
+ Intel wireless (5100, 5150, 5300, 5350)
You have PM45 + P7350 + 5100, therefore you have Centrino 2. -
