My laptop came with a matte screen and I am thinking of switching that out to a high gloss screen. The standard is a 17.3 Full HD (1920x1080) LED Backlit 90% NTSC Color Gamut Glossy LCD (AUO B173HW01V4). BUT, given the talk about Windows 8, I'm wondering if there isnt a comparable screen that also has touch screen capability?
Anyone know and if so, can you point me in the right direction?

I do not believe this model supports Touch Screens
But you can swap out the display to a gloss screen, but it likely would void your warranty -

See quote below, I would check before any screen upgrades

Partners can perform Upgrades to cpu, memory, hdd, wireless. ect. Screen upgrades, chassis modifications will void the manufactures warranty. Performing a screen upgrade is major disassembly/reassembly to the notebook chassis.

mind you this was from a Whitebook thread, not sure MSi Branded laptops have the same limitation,
There are 17.3 inch Glossy displays out there
If you get the model number from yours it would be easy to cross reference it with other models
I use ths site for one
