I'm hoping someone can help me. But recently, I've been experiencing audio popping/crackling noises while playing games ( Titanfall/BattleField 4 ) regardless of what headset I use.

I've already foregone my notebook's audio and tried a USB headset ( Corsair Vengeance 2100 ). I still get audio pops. This has been occurring since the day I bought my notebook. MSI support has suggested that I update the BIOs, however, I don't feel very comfortable doing so ( If it's as easy as loading it via USB while logged into the BIOs, I can probably do that ).

I've done a clean reinstall of Windows 8 and still get the pops after the core drivers get installed ( GPU, Chipset, Audio, LAN/Killer ).

Recent hardware changes include: Two SSDs, thermal repaste, extra 8 GB DIMM. After pulling those out, I still have the issue.

I love the notebook and everything, I can try and overlook this issue. But I find that it kills the gaming experience.. especially if it's with new USB audio hardware.

If there's any suggestions any of you notebook owners can put out, that would be fantastic. :)

I'm at work, right now. I'll upload screenshots whenever I have the chance.

I've been having the same problems as well. Though not as frequently but still. I thought it might be the headphone jack getting interference from somewhere but since you tried USB and still getting the same problem, hmm. There was this post in the GT60 680M owners thread

So, maybe try getting beta drivers or checking to see first whether or not you have the latest drivers.
