    Hi!

    I have an MSI GT680R with I7-2630QM

Anyhow.. When i played GTA IV i noticed sometimes that games starts to lag like hell and fan speed decreasing.. i thought overheating but no.

Then i tried Prime95.. Prime95 alone does not have any issues..

BUT if i start furmark in the background i can see that the cpu instantly throttles.. and then throttles up... and throttles down..

It goes very fast between throttle up/down when u hardcore test it with prime95 but in games it takes more time between.

Dont get it..? Anyone seen this before?

    Please help!

Thank you for quick response :)

This seems to fix my issue, though its using the speed 2600MHz until it reaches higher temps.. then it lowers to 2300MHz ..

But earlier it throttled to 700Mhz and megalag..

Wierd though.. 78 degrees celsius feels a bit early to throttle.. according to Intel them selves above 90 is not ok.
