    Help me fix my laptop! Advent 6555 (MSI725) + USB port

    I have had my laptop for around 2 years now and i fancy a change. However i could do with fixing my current laptop before i can sell hit.

    1) My first issue is the screen bezel is cracked near the hinge on the bottom left, as a result the lid won't shut properly and obviously it is loose. Does anyone know where i can get hold of a screen bezel?

    2) The laptop squeels and hums as a result of the fan, its either because there is something clogging the cpu fan or the fan is rubbish. I believe it is the second option and if this is the case where am i likely to be able to get hold of a better HSF ?

    3) One of the usb ports has had the plastic insides fall out meaning that if you use it you can often make the pins touch inside and as a result the laptop will crash. Is it possible to get hold of laptop internal "holes"?

    1. Ebay or rkcomputer.
    2. You can take out the fan, check the model number on it, then look for the same fan on ebay. Or you can try cleaning your fan. BTW rkcomputer might also have the right HSF.
    3. Don't know what holes you're talking about.

    I live in the UK so Rkcomputer unfortunately will not ship here =(

    I should rephrase question 3, is it possible to get hold of a new internal USB connector for the side of my laptop ?
