MSI GE60 = Portable + Medium performance + Stylish = Good Choice for students

MSI GT60-70 = Not very portable + It's more of a replacement for desktop computer + High performance + Maybe stylish (but i prefer GE60(2013) design) = Good as a replacement for desktop but for that money you can buy much more powerful desktop

The GT60 is actually pretty portable considering the power inside and compares well to other models of similar specs.

If cost is your main deciding point (like it was for me), you can get the MS16GC (the completely stripped barebone GE60) for under $1000. In my case, I was able to get it well under that by ordering it with no HDD and begging a little for a discount. Also worth noting is that the barebone has a PLASTIC palmrest, which would normally be not as nice, but in this case alleviates the palm-roasting issues somewhat.

These 2 are totally the same in the terms of performance. As about design and portability it is up to you. I would pick GT70 but only comparing these 2.

Id probably get the one with the 765m, the 670m is a pretty slow card, more of a rebadge of the 570m gtx, whereas the 765m is a kepler refresh. The 765m is siginficantly faster than the 670m, so go with the 765.

GE60 2OE is current generation which you take advantages of the current generation features like HSW power saving and new NV boost 2.0
GT70 0NC is last generation model which GT have more MSI features than GE series like Full color KB, Dynaudio speakers also not to say a bigger screen.

In order to help you make decision, we need to know which features is more important to you and your usage so we can help.
