I'm not sure why MSI didn't include volume controls on the touch panel. I'd love a mute and volume up/down feature. Anyone know if you can hack the panel to reassign stuff like the silly Cinemapro thing to something like volume muting?

Heh, yeah, Cinema Pro is funny because all it does is turn up/down your volume and brightness. It would be possible to change how it works, but you'd probably have to crack the System Control Manager.

I figured out a "fix." There's a free app called 3rvx. It is basically an on screen display app for volume control. It also allows you to assign hotkeys for volume up/down/mute. I reassigned the previous track, next track, and track stop buttons on the board to work for the volume controls. Works great.
