    Hi

I have a pretty big problem with my laptop, if I turn it off, it won't recognize my graphic card for a time, then suddenly everything go back to normal after a few days. If I just put it in sleep mode, or hibernate it there won't be any problem, so I doubt that it would be a hardware problem, and I already tried to reinstall the OS, and it didn't solve the problem. I already tried to upgrade the driver, but it's not working, since it won't recognize the video card. I think that it will be some kind of contact problem, but it's quite fixated, so I can't get it out properly.

Anyway, my video card is a Geforce 9500M GS.

Could anyone help me, or at least tell me where can I find help? Thank you for the answers.

Hmmmm. Sounds like a power issue of some sorts? Or indeed just a faulty card. You already eliminated the most probable causes, so I would use the warranty if its still valid. Now you should be able to remove the card by unscrewing the heat sink, but be careful. After you take it out, check to see if the thermal paste is dried out.
