    HELP! Need new hinges for MSI GE62 2QE (Apache)

    Hi everyone -

    My MSI GE62 is in dire need of new hinges, but I can't for the life of me find them anywhere on the internet. Does anyone have a clue on where to look? Perhaps they are compatible with an older model? Should I call MSI, and do they sell individual parts? If all fails, what do you suggest?

    Your help is truly appreciated

    The only place that carries the parts is MSI themselves.
    Have you tried calling MSI directly?

    I am not sure where to start; the number I called said I have to send the whole machine for repair! Is there a good customer service number for parts?

    Different region has different policies, so if your local MSI office says that you need to ship it in for service then you should follow their instructions.

    I did ship it in once, and they said they couldn't replace the hinges -- they would only change the entire case and charge me $400 for it. That makes no sense...

    I should add that 3 different repair shops agreed with me that only the hinges need to be changed...
