    So I just recently learned about the GX680 from MSI, and that is pretty much the perfect package for me. It's got the GT 555m, FHD, and it's 15.6 inches! :D


    I'm just wondering if anyone had any idea when it will be up for sale and for how much. If it's more than 3 months, I think I'll just have the pull the trigger on an NP5160.

    How much is it? And is it Optimus?

    If it's more than $1000 without Optimus it's really bad.

    The GX640 is pretty much 30% faster with the 5850 compared to the GT555M and if it doesn't have Optimus to help the battery life I can't see what's so good about it.

    Where did you hear or see this? As far as anyone know, the GX680 is coming out with the AMD 6870m. Are you sure this isnt the GE620 your looking at?

    :O What hell? I cannot find that article anymore. But it was an MSI article thing that was talking about their new laptops, and it said that the GX680 comes with the GT 555m. I'm ASSUMING it would come with Optimus, but you can never be too sure.


    Hopefully this is true. I will pray to Odin to for us gents!

    Your probably saw this for the GT or GX780. I will fin the link and see if this is what you saw.
