Which one would you choose and why? I'm really having a tough decision on which one to choose. I really like the looks of the 1727 but specs wise I'm being torn away by the 660r.

I also noticed that the GX740 has a 3 year warranty vs the 2 years of the GX660r.

GX660R in a heartbeat. It has excellent specs and it really doesn't look bad at all. Pictures don't do it justice.

For the mentioned price, go for the GX660R. You're gonna have a smaller screen (but FullHD :) ), but a bit better CPU and 2 hard drive bays, with an SSD and a HDD in them. Plus, the Force 1727 comes without OS, whereas the GX660R has Windows 7 installed. That's another couple of bucks...

yup def the gx660. Don't forget it also has usb 3.0, and much better audio as well as better cooling.
