    Gx640 and 740 cooling system

    Is there any difference between the 2's?

    Are they only differences...

    1. The size of the screen
    2. The presence of a subroofer
    3. The price
    4. The GPU/CPU differences?

    Or is the build quality of the 17 incher better (double fan per example)

    740 is a single fan, the GPU gets extremely hot 85-98c. I recommend MX-3 application.


    640 uses PM55
    740 uses HM55

    No, it has the PM55 chipset from Intel. The GX740, however, does have the HM55 chipset.

    I don't bother with extra cost thermal paste, default stuff is really good, see below:
