I see a GX630 at tigerdirect for $599USD is it worth it do you think the price will drop even more?
    1) Is the 2.0 AMD CPU good enough for multi tasking? like WC3 + youtube + itunes + MSN + a couple of other browsers? What CPU did you change it to?
    2) It seems retarded that the heat vent is on the right side... does it get really hot for your hand when you are gaming ?

Also, How much more is the GX620 worth? I see it on NCIX for 980$ CDN

I can line-up for boxing day at NCIX but how much does the 980$ price need to drop before it is worth it?

The GX630 is completely fine for moderate gaming, given the price. I typically run most games (GTA4, Fallout 3, Oblivion, WoW) at native res with medium-high details and get 30+ fps 95% of the time.

The vent on the side is pretty bothersome, but the way I have it sitting on my desk, my mouse hand never moves that far up to notice.

FYI, the turbo-charge feature the machine tout's is rather useless. It increases the heat quite a bit for, if you're lucky, a 1-2 fps boost.

The vents are further toward the back of the laptop than the keyboard. When I play games I usually have the mouse in line with or closer to me than the keyboard.

And changing the CPU won't make much of a difference at all to framerates, unless you go out and spend $1000+ on an incredible one.

I would pick the gx630, these MSI machines are beautiful! :D. Also the GT130M is not a big "improvement" over the 9600gt...
