    Hello Forum

    I just replaced my i5 430 with a i5 580 and the gx740 still boots up!!
But now i recognized that it clocks from 2.67 ghz up to 3.01 and not up to 3.3.
Is this a bug cause of the bios or is the power consumption to high?

And as i saw there were some people who put in a i7 920. And this cpu does boost up to 3.3 right? or do they have my issue?

However I would be very happy about some answers.

ps: I'm a newbie but changing a cpu worked :D
