Hey, I just received my GX 630 and i realized that the DX diagnostic indicates that I have 3gb ram but when I right click the My Computer icon and check out the properties it says that I have 4 gb. I just want to know if it is Vista that is eating up 1gb of ram or if I got scammed.

that's normal. 32 bit operating systems can only "see" 2.8-3 GB of RAM. Vista is showing you 4 GB to acknowledge that you have the 4 gigs. That extra gig is being used to address drivers, cache, etc.

Just install 64bit vista. If you get a Vista 64bit CD you can install it with the same serial key as the 32bit as long as you install the same kind (aka premium to premium)
