    Specs:

    i7-6820HK
    64GB RAM
    GTX 1080 (Full Blown)
    512GB RAID 0
    1TB HDD
    Dual 230 Watts PSU

Pictures are taken from Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus ... :) Even the phone shows how great the screen is.

I need to brainstorm on how to install the 18" screen on the laptop. Hopefully i can come up with a neat idea.

Can you provide some more details where you bought it from and how you got it to fit? Have you seen any problems?

It's not installed at the moment. It's just sitting bare in front of the 17" screen.

The screen seem to work 100%. I don't see any problems yet.

    Brightness work.

Not sure what else to check for to see if it's 100%... lol

I just played Apex Legends in native 4K, and I can't believe how detailed the game was and how vibrant the colors are. It's just eye candy.

    Specs:

    i7-6820HK
    64GB RAM
    GTX 1080 (Full Blown)
    512GB RAID 0

I got the LCD for $180 shipped from China, purchase via eBay.

    Model: NV184QUM-N21

I used the same LCD cable that came with the laptop that has the 120Hz screen.

Let me know what else to check for regarding the screen.

I'll send you the PM if you are interested in the screen. Seller has one left.

It work without updating the bios

The screen is just sitting on the outside for now. I have to figure out a way to mount the LCD.

I was thinking of getting the GT80/83 LCD housing and nodding it to install on the GT73VR ( of course removing the 17" panel assembly)

For now , I'm waiting to find the housing.

    THANK YOU @Rengsey R. H. Jr. +5 reps

This confirms that the 18.4'' 4k panel has a generic 40pin edp connector and not some asus specific connector. Now to find a way to mod this into a gt83...
