So I've ordered a crucial 250gb ssd and some different ram for my new dominator (not pro).

The ram install is pretty straight forward, I hope, as well as the ssd.

My question is, are there instructions on migrating my windows to the ssd? Will it involve a reformat?

    Thanks guys

Use MSI Burn Recovery utility to create recovery discs, then use the discs to restore the OS onto the new SSD.
You will have to remove the old drive first so the recovery software will not be confused.

^ exastly what I did, it takes a bit of effort for sure to back everything up but the end result is so great :) - I went from a single 128GB SSD to 3x 240GB

Thanks for your inputs Kevin and TheGoat. Making my recovery discs now.

Also, is there an arbitrary ssd size limitation? Or can I get 500gb ssd's?

You are only limited by the size of drive available on the market :)

There's no limitation, you can use 500GB without any issues.
