Hi there and thank you for looking. Searched everywhere and googled like crazy to solve my problem.
I'm very good diy, but need a little guidance.

I flashed EC firmware on MSI GX740 MS-1727 v1.2 and it just displayed "EEEEEEEE" after the erase line for a good 30 minutes.
Powered off and hoping it didn't erased, but now laptop is dead.
I opened it and tracked down the EC chip and is MX 25L512WC.
I ordered a USB programmer, and another chip in case the original one is bad and cannot be programmed.
Only thing I cannot be sure of is the "B4C" setting used in ENEFLASH.
Someone on here had a similar problem wit another model MSI laptop, but no one replied him and his thread is closed.
I checked the file from MSI and at 4C is value "A3".
The firmware will fill the chip exact in 512kbits/65536bits, so I'm I overthinking the "B4C" setting used in ENEFLASH.
Should flashing chip with EC firmware be enough to revive the laptop?

Thank you for your time and will appreciate all help and input.

    Update.
Used SIP USB programmer and programmed a new MX 25l512M and the old chip broke a leg while removing.
Soldered the new chip and black screen, but turns on now and touch panel works.
After checking and rechecking connections, finally reseated the memory fixed the black screen no image problem.
Epoxy some cracks and broken plastic pieces and will dust it and clean install Windows 7.

    Have a nice day.
