Anyone know what's why it suddendly stopped? I've only drained the battery twice since I've purchased it and it's usually always pluggled in. It's not a huge deal, but for September semester it will be in the lecture halls with no plugs.

You have not inadvertently activated a battery save, on some notebooks you can select the level that the notebook stops charging, normaly 80% but some can use any level, check your bios for the option, there is also a windows program that can set this also, though i dont have an MSI notebook so it might be a duff battery.

have you checked your wear level , you can use batterybar or hwmonitor to do this.
