    GX720 and a 3870

    Well after all day of messing with this, My cousin brought over his Alienware and we tested the 3870 in it and it works great. The conclusion is that the 3870 will not work in the GX720. So anyone who wants to try this in the future, dont. All you will get is a black screen. I want to say thanks for all of you who helped me. Now I will have a 3870 up for sale. I will be buying a GTX 260m to try next.

    I think the reason it wont work is its not getting enough power. I am using a 120 watt adapter and the card is only 55 watts.
