so I downloaded the latest BIOS and I am trying to flash my GX720(1722) from a USB Boot. I flashed the EC with no issues, but when I run the batch file, it shows the command on the screen and just sits there doing nothing? I eventually had to turn off the machine (scary,I know) ... Anyone seen this?

    Thanks

    GO to this link: http://cid-cfdb369e3fd129df.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/Utility

Download the MsiUsbBootTool and the USBBOOT folder.
Execute the MsiUsbBootTool with admin rights.
Select the proper device which will be used, it will be bootable after the format.
Select the DOS boot files, point to the USBBOOT folder.
Press start, if this isn't possible select the USB device again.
after the format the USB device will be bootable, now copy the BIOS file unzipped to the USB device and reboot with the USB device still present.
When the notebook boots, enter the BOOT order and select the USB device, wait for it to load.
Open the BIOS folder and execute the flash.bat file.
    The rest should be automatic.

Please understand BIOS flash and EC Firmware flash is done on your own risk, i will not be responsible for any bad flash or other issue regarding the flash failure.
