I just bought a new GX710-230A. It’s a good notebook except for the touchpad. It’s probably the worst I’ve ever used. The butons are too narrow and way too stiff and the pad itself is so sensitive that if I so much as touch it whlile typing it moves the cursor. And to make matters worse it appears MSI decided not to include a driver for it. So I can’t turn off tapping or do anything besides shut it off entirely. Is there a driver out there I can use to configure it so it will work allow me to type without driving myself crazy? I’ve tried the generic touchpad drivers for Synaptics and ALPS but neither one works and only shows the touchpad as a mouse. I can’t believe a company would allow this to occur.
