    I have a MSI GX-710 which i purchased about 2 months ago.

When I connect to networks via the wireless adapter in the laptop, my system speed drops drastically. All programs open more slowly often to the point where Vista thinks they have stopped responding.

If I connect to networks via the wired ethernet line and disable the wireless adapter, the system runs fine, no slow downs.

I have tried various releases of the drivers for the wireless adapter with no improvement.

    Any suggestions?

AzureWave AW-GE780. I have tried the drivers on MSI's website which are dated 10/24/07. I have also tried the drivers provided through Window's Update which are date 2/20/08ish.

At the suggestions of MSI Tech support, I ended up reinstalling Vista back up to SP1. That seemed to take care of the issue.
