Hello guys. I have GX70 with dead m290x. I was wondering what would be the cheapest video card I could buy that would work with this system? I tried Mobility Radeon 5870 from GX660 and does not boot. Fan spins and no display or backlight. I think cause it does not support Enduro and is too old. Card works fine in my GT780DX so is not issue.

Would Firepro m6100/m6000/m4000 work with this system? These three have Enduro support and Dell Firepro m6100 is cheap and fast. 7970m/m290x is still very expensive in my country and unreliable.

Found this link here of a GX70 with Firepro m6000 installed that was for sale in Lithuania long ago https://ru.skelbiu.lt/skelbimai/msi-gx70-amd-a10-5750m-amd-firepro-m6000-hd-7800m-45315107.html

Seller says works with dead battery. m6000 Could maybe perhaps work? I am going to bite the bullet and purchase Dell one to see if it works or not.

edit: found this here too http://www.nhl.pl/index.php?showtopic=94788

Dell m6000 appears to work in GX60/GX70 according to this person.

German MSI forum says GX60 works with m6000 (7870m) as well. Seems to be only supported card that isn't 7970m/8970m/m290x.
