Er...what exactly is the difference between the GX60 and the GX60 Destroyer other than the re-branding of the HD8970M and keyboard software?

Nothing else, it's the same thing.
The GPU is exactly the same as 8970M.

There's been nothing new in PCs since Sandy Bridge.A lot of rebadging but nothing in the form of something actually new.

CES 2014 was a disappointment in that there was really nothing that got a Wow from me.

I was hoping for news on SATA Express,USB 3.1,DDR4 or 5 use as system ram but nothing.

I guess the channels are clogged with present and past generation hardware that Intel,AMD and others have been asked by partners again to delay introducing new until old inventory is reduced.

Why upgrade to something you already have that only has a different name.

The only new thing I have is probably my Intel AC-7260 wireless card.

Yeah the GX60 Destroyer seems kind of pointless. It's like a new generation of laptop using last-generation technology xD.

CES 2014 was pretty disappointing. I think I might've read it wrong but, they're getting rid of Super Raid 2 on the new GT60 and GT70 models?

I am pretty excited about the new 15inch GS stealth laptop though. Seems more powerful and better looking than the GE series.

That slight power boost of the rebranded 8970 will once again go to waste due to the CPU in many situations :(.
