My GX660 started slowing down last night. Chrome, Firefox, IE9 all wouldn't load pages at all. It said "Waiting for Cache..." in Chrome. It got to the place where it froze everything up, so I just restarted my PC thinking it was a normal slowdown.
Now, I cannot get past the MSI boot screen. I can not enter BIOS by pressing Delete. No other buttons work. The hard drive light is not flashing. The only light that's on is the little sleep light on my trackpad.
I removed all USB devices, ethernet cable, power supply, etc and nothing seems to work.
I'd rather not have to go through the warranty process as it's the last option. Is there anything else I can do? I can't open it up because of the warranty sticker. I have a feeling it might be faulty RAM. Ideas? *hopes to find his receipt...*

were you overclocking your laptop? what other things can you specify at the the time of the incident?

It sounds like your hard drive may be on its way out. Are you able to put a different hard drive in there for testing purposes?
Also, if you remove that warranty sticker on the bottom, it's been stated numerous times in the forums that you do not lose your warranty. Below is a link to one of the references:

try booting off of a USB and doing a memtest

Yep, just try as many alternate parts/tests are you can. I fear your mobo may have gone though.
