Hi guys... i'm writing from italy cause I have a problem with my notebook.
I don't know why my nb doesn't receives power when I put the cable on it....

I think it's a problem about the cable itself, but i saw on the net that it could be also a problem about pin of the notebook... Someone of you did have the same problem?? what did u do to solve it??

    Thanks :)

Have you checked to see if your DC jack pin is still intact in the laptop itself?

If it is not, you would have to send it in for repairs, and to my knowledge MSI will not cover that under warranty.

If it is the AC Adapter (brick) try finding a reseller or contacting MSI in your region to see if they can get you a new adapter.

first of all thakns... Well some weeks ago (last week that i used my laptop), to let it on I pressed the cable pin in different ways and many times the nb recives power.... Some days later this method didn't function anymore... This could be mean that the problem is about the cable only?? (So i have to rebuy one of that) Cause the laptop's pin is perfectly attached on notebook...

    Thanks ;)

If there is no wiggle on the DC jack pin then it would indicate a defective AC adapter...that or your DC jack wore out prematurely, the surrounding springy metal possibly.

That sounds like a broken jack to me which needs a solder bridge to a nearby cap to fix.

You can bypass the pin to mobo connector with a solder bridge like I said so it should be fixable.
