    GX640 available to UK when?

    I have been looking for a laptop to do some gaming with, and have had the GX740 suggested to me. The only problem is that, at 17 inches, the screen is slightly bigger than I would like. When I saw the specs on the GX640 it looked perfect, but I can't find it for sale in the UK.

    Is it available anywhere here other than importing? If not, does anyone know when it will be released here? From what I read it was due to be released at the same time as the GX740 but then I can't find any more information about it.

    Unfortunately that's a US site. I'd rather not buy internationally if I don't have to, as I've had problems with international warranties before. It's just odd, from what I read the GX640 and GX740 were supposed to be released at the same time here, but only one of them actually was.

    I'm afraid GX640 is not released in UK :(

    You can try order from Netherlands, but the price is ridiculous when comparing to american GX640's. Yet MSI applies global warranty so it will be equally serviced in any MSI authorised service center.

    Ah, thanks for that, I had a suspicion that it wasn't going to be released here, sigh. The exchange rate is so bad at the moment that I don't think ordering from Europe will be a good idea.
