    Hey guys,
just installed Win7 32-bit on my computer and noticed no webcam is being detected. Looking at MSI's site, it says that the webcam should use the driver that comes with the Win7 DVD... but it isn't. So, what should I do?

    Thanks

Press on the webcam icon on the touch panel , it will install itself.

Welcome. Everytime you want to use it , you need to enable it through the touch panel .. same goes with bluetooth.

Yeah, I didn't know about the touch panel when I got my GX640, so it took me some time to even get the wireless on.

    LOL..

    I run HWiNFO32 with it,

I just boot to Windows, press P1, press Run and boom!

    I monitor my temps!

If you're going to run HWiNFO32 whenever you boot, you might as well just set it to start automatically at boot.
Personally, I mostly use GPU-Z and Real Temp for monitoring now, because they make nice log files.

Nah, I'm a paranoid when it comes to boot time.

I'd save a few microseconds to boot :D

Hey, when you fresh installed Windows 7, what additional drivers did you have to install? Will I need to obtain anything form the MSI cd, site, or from ATI's site? Or did Win7 take care of everything?

    Thanks min

Just install everything on the CD or go through and choose what you want, the only thing you really need to get elsewhere is to install new drivers for the gpu.

Side question: How do I get a program that normally asks me for permission to start so start on boot? I want to get gpu-z to autostart with boot

I think you're supposed to use the Task Scheduler.

Wow...mind just went blank, I remember always seeing the task scheduler when I'm not looking for it but I forget where it is now

Ya, pretty much what NEM said. Uh, just install the stuff on the DVD.

On a side note: Weird thing: after I installed Win7 the autorun program on the DVD no longer works.. like the home page comes up that says things like "Drivers", and "features", etc but clicking on them doesn't navigate, haha. Had to install all drivers manually.

I second that question, why go back into the age of 32-bit? You already have 4 gb of ram in there
