    Hi guys,

So I just got my GX640, loving it. Looks great. Hardly any keyboard flex, etc.

Anyways, I don't know how to turn the WLAN on, as I cannot find the switch and don't know my way around windows 7 that well. Any help would be .

    Thanks!

    I had the same problem.
Press the little satellite dish along the row of touch sensors (in line with the power button).

Where do you get these pics from lol.

Also, do you have to always press the LAN button every time you turn on the comp?

In my experience, it stays on if you turn the computer off with it on.

It's a touch-button thingy on the touch panel thingy right? So if its not a toggle switch, and the touch thingy messes up, is there a way to activate/deactivate WLAN in Win7?

I don't think there's any other way, unfortunately.

But thats how a lot of laptops except most have a physical switch, probably a bit safer than on the touch panel but if your touch panel goes out you probably lost the entire panel so you'd need to get it replaced regardless

I believe you can switch it on, but permanently then I guess.
Through device manager in Control Panel you can un-select the option of "allow computer to turn off this device to save power" that way it will stay on.

I don't think that works, though.
