    GX640 IR port question

    I downloaded and intalled the Consumer Infrared (CIR) driver from the MSI download site.

    All went well and ENE CIR Receiver shows up in device manager as working properlly.

    The thing is none of my many remotes seem to work with it.

    I am going into Media Center by nothing works with this port.

    Is there something I am missing, or do I need any special remote or device?

    Interesting, but my daughter's HP laptop remote control works.

    I wonder if it is a PC specific kind of remote. I also wonder if the Logitech Harmony series works with this CIR.
