    It's a flat round cell , you can't miss it.

    On the MSI GX630 I found the battery under the plastic frame it is difficult to get to with out taking the laptop apart.

    Also let me guess you want to clear the BIOS because your not getting any display right?

    I was having lines in the display, so I took the video card out to see if it had external display without it and when I went to put it back in I forgot to unplug it and when screwing it back in the screw fell over and hit a component on the video card with a spark, now I don't get display or bootup sounds. Not sure if the video card fried if it will boot or not, I get some flashes from the hard drive light but not alot of activity. Michael

    most likely the card shorted with the screw, try taking the card out a and see if it will post, you wont get video but it loads windows and you hear sounds from windows then just replacing the card will fix the issue.

    hello i have opened mine but dont know where that bios batt is can you help if you did find it . i have the same problem thanks
