I have been waiting for this model to come here in the USA. :) I have contacted so many overseas merchants asking if they will sell and ship one to me in the USA and none of them ever reply back :( Does it look like it uses an MXM graphics card ?? I would love to upgrade this later or hope they upgrade another newer model to use the new ATI HD4670 mobility card. God Bless :) :) :)

I wonder what happened to the MSI GX420 that was announced a few months ago ?? I was thinking that it was replacing the GX400 with a stronger GPU such as the ATI HD 4670 Mobilty.

Woah, 2445 Australian dollars is still almost 1600 American ones! The old N80vn's and the new N81vp are more than 400 dollars less.

Budhal, lol come on you know you cant do a straight conversion in international currency the money it doesn't work out well at all. If it comes here it will be cheaper because they tend to keep there prices head to head with Asus.

JD, 1400 x 900? I didnt even know about that, thats great if they can do it though.

Also the GX420 im not too sure i haven't found out enough information about it :D If its anything like this it should be a pretty solid 14" :D

    Hey Red_Dragon,

I found this on MSI's site:

On that page is says for the display 14.1" WSXGA+/WXGA

So I am guessing that would mean 1280 x 800 / 1440 x 900. Also I am guessing or predicting that in the near future that MSI replace the current Nvidia 9600M GT to the new ATI Mobility HD4670 MXM video card. Now that would be an excellent portable gaming machine !!! God Bless :)

WSXGA+?! That would me 1680 x 1050 !! That would make this one of the highest Res 14" notebook.

maybe the 4670 will be possible because both Asus and MSI are already using there full range of cards.

Yes I have emailed MSI several times over the last 6 months, they never replied back. I have even tried FROSTY COMPUTERS 2 times and they too never replied back. I tried a local computer place that carries MSI about 3 months ago and they said that it was not available yet. I even tried a Malaysian and 2 French stores online that supposedly advertised they carried it to see if they can sell and ship to the USA, none of them never replied back either. So any leads would be greatly appreciated. God Bless :)
