I can see it at Mesh, and it doesn't seem like too bad a budget all rounder.

I want it from somewhere that does finance, but can only see it at Mesh.

I want it. Now. Though I'd prefer a CPU with 4 MB cache, and a WXGA+ glare-type screen. Maybe there will be options. :) This thing is pretty close to perfect though.

I really like this laptop, I would have prefered it ithout the flaming stuff and the design around the turbo button. But this laptop has everything I want.

In UK only http://www.aria.co.uk/ and http://www.cclonline.com/ have are selling them, but in november and they are the T7250 models with lower screen resolution.

Not to mention all the major german sites are selling the for cheap price.

Does anyone know wether something from germany would inccur custom charges in the UK?

great notebook but 1280 x 800 would be totally unacceptable for such a nice machine....by the way i really like the keyboard layout!!

Considering its about £900ish from what I see, I may get the more within my budget GX610.

    Also flameless!

And also, good news. http://www.xoticpc.com now carries the GX600, not to mention has the option to AS5 it out, and put a skin(or if ya wana waste money paint it) over the tatoo if ya dont like it.

I just received mine yesterday. I wouldn't call them flames on it. It's really a tribal tattoo. It looks amazing. I bought a 200GB Seagate 7200RPM drive for it and I'm going to put the 250GB Western Digital in my PS3.

I couldn't find any online so I called the head of marketing for MSI out in Cali and they set me up. $1599 plus $11 for shipping. The keyboard is great except the period key is half size, considering how much it gets used you would have thought a half size comma would have been a better choice.

I originally bought the Sager 2090 and hated it. It was bulky, the screen was washed out and the keyboard felt flimsy. The MSI is smaller, the keyboard is solid and has a nice tactile feel. The touch pad has the same tactile surface as the keyboard. I didn't really need the fingerprint reader on the Sager but the HDMI and ESATA on the MSI are really important to me. The turbo button gives you the power of the t7700 for the price of the t7300. Did I mention how pretty she is?

No, just the standard dual layer burner. You could hook up and external HD-DVD for $160 and do it that way. I haven't because I already have blu-ray on my PS3 and I want to stay on that side of the fence.

Did you have a chance to test the battery life? I was thinking about buying a Macbook Pro but I might change my mind if this laptop has a decent battery life too. Can you please post some results? Wireless on, Screen Brightness Medium and maybe a DVD watch test with wireless turned off.

    Thanks a lot...

Yea, I'll work up a whole review for you. Watching Xvid movies with aero and sidebar off and full screen brightness I have gotten just under 2 hours. I looked at the Macbook Pro before I bought the GX600. They have a lot in common but the GX600 has twice the video SDRAM (512MB) which is important for me because I game on it a lot. It also comes with a 250GB hard drive vs. 160GB on the Macbook Pro. Oh yea, and it's $1,000 less. Since the spec's are so similar I'm going to see what would happen if Leopard accidentally got installed on it. ;)

I just tested the battery life while watching a DVD. At 50% brightness it lasted 1:35. There is a 9 cell battery available but I don't have it. I was going to do a full review of my own but it looks like I was beaten to it. The big difference I have is that I replaced the hard drive with the 7200RPM Seagate. Here is my HD Tune test:
