    Hey Guys!

I've got a Medion X7811 which is the same as GX 740 and I bought a Samsung 830 SSD and it didn't worked in AHCI Mode, it was physically invisible in BIOS and it only booted up in IDE mode.

I've testet my SSD with my HDD Caddy (replacement for DVD ROM) and SURPRISE!!! It worked for me!!!
Now is my speed better and reaction time, BIG difference between IDE and AHCI

    I hope this will help!

(Sorry for my language, I'm german)

edit: heres a samsung ssd benchmark screen Unbenannt.png

I'm confused. Did you get it to work under AHCI internally or did you need to leave it external?
