    GT80S cannot activate the keypad

    I am currently in mousepad mode and the num button is no longer turning on the numbers pad. I am not aware of anything I did to turn it off and cannot find anything to turn it back on. And yes, I am aware of F3. That does nothing now. Had the laptop about a month now and never had issues toggling the keypad on/off. Any ideas to try?

    i have had this issue uninstall the mouse pad drives and reinstall them.

    It now works with the reinstall of the driver. The num key seems to not work all the time now but it eventually switches.

    I would also recommend updating the EC firmware from the MSI website, we have seen this help!

    I'm already at the current BIOS version, and I have to mash the NumLock button several times to get the number pad to light up. Quite annoying as I usually end up using the regular number keys.

    Almost like the thing has to warm up, because from that point on I can switch between numpad and touchpad with just light pressure. Until I restart the system :( and I'm back to mashing the NumLock button.
