has any one tried to overclock the screen of the gt80 to more than the stock 60 hz? If so, what did you get the refresh rate to?
Thanks in advance and sorry if this is a noob question

    100hz :)

Some have reported 110hz and 120hz, it's worth trying to see if it works on your display. If you get a black screen wait, it should come back, if not then hold down the power button and power off. It's a good idea when doing this testing to have all other apps closed and all files closed.

I create custom resolution options for: 100hz, 96hz (4x 24fps movies), 90hz, 85hz, 80hz, 75hz, 70hz, and set up Rivatuner to Limit FPS for each game to the average FPS of the game.

Most games run well over 100fps on the GT80, so I mostly run at 100hz/100fps.

A little trick if you get any glitches in the video in a game, set the FPS Limit to 1 > than the hz, like 100hz/101fps, 90hz/91fps, etc.

Leave Vsync / Adaptive vsync off. Doing the FPS limit with the solid performance of the GT80 makes for smooth video, I don't miss G-sync :)

Mines does 108, but I usually put it at 105, I like multiples of 5 :)

My external is a 144hz gsync. Like hmscott said most games run well above 100 so it's a very smooth experience for sure.

Mine goes to 110hz but I use it at 100hz for the most part. I used to have it at 96hz too.

Any refresh rate above 60hz instantly helps the user experience. Even 75hz. Refresh rates above that just get better.

Remember, as with each of us, it is at your own risk ;)
