I undid the RAID and went into the AHCI mode and ever since then the machine stopped rebooting, it hangs upon reboot. Gets to the MSI Logo and hangs right there.

I thought it was a Windows thing and it's doing it with a new install of Windows.

I have two GT80s and it's doing the same thing on both. Is there a BIOS setting responsible for reboots?

You need to re-install your OS, because it was installed on a RAID volume and now since you disabled RAID there isn't a RAID volume, and so the data on each SSD is just junk that wont ever be a bootable OS.

The OS is bootable from a cold boot. The machine hangs during the reboot, that is all. I can only do a cold boot.

I have a second gt80 machine where I reinstalled the OS and it does not reboot either. It's something in the BIOS.
