    GT780dxr-446 Keyboard backlight issue

    My gt780dxr backlight is deactivated in keyboard led manager. When I power on my laptop the keyboard backlight comes on by itself at different times with different colors. My bios and firmware are up to date.
    I have tried Embedded Controller Reset, Re-installing S-Bar, System Control Manager, Keyboard led manager,

    I thought of a recovery to factory specs but do not think that will do anything. I do not know what is causing this? I called msi still waiting to see if they find the issue.

    I would try a factory reinstall. It wouldn't hurt.
    But that sounds like a drivers issue to me.
