Got a Dell 7970m from a member on the forums as well as a heatsink.

I am having trouble getting it to run at full speed.

    I ran 3dmark 11 and for a P1926 which is really low.

Not sure what to do from here. I have the 180w powerbrick. Temps seem to be acceptable.

    Here is a gpu-z log.

Well I tried an older bios and it seemed to fix it.

bios from mainboard or vbios from GPU ? I think maybe better option is to buy an orginal card MSI 7970m from GX60. And I also wonder if enduro at MSI cards is disabled if not how i can disabled this ? Thanks

vbios on the gpu. Changed over from Dell to Clevo HM.

It throttles when I don't use throttlestop, which is too bad. Would have been nice to not use it.

My cpu is also an 2860qm

One of the slight issues when upgrading notebooks unfortunately, at least you can make throttlestop start up minimised :)
