I just noticed, when going from my User to Admin account, the themes are the same, and my profile pic is the same.
I have lost separate theme functionality .... Is this right or, is this another 1809 bug in my notebook?

    ***EDIT***
I started a guest account, thing got straightened out, deleted the guest account.
    Odd.........
Back to the TP problems I'm having, is the only one in 1809...Keeping my fingers crossed.
I'm scared to do a restart.

    ***EDIT***
Do you other owners have the windows TP settings or the Synaptic TP settings?

Check the driver properties in the device manager and find out who's the provider.

I'm up to date on the Synaptic TP drivers, both MSI and Windows, and now the 17763.55 update is loading.
Forget about Synaptic, lets start with the Windows TP gestures that are missing.
    Will report back.

    ***EDIT***
17763.55 did not patch the missing Windows TP gestures..... :(

There's an issue with 1809 updates deleting /misplacing the user's file, so you might want to check if that's the issue. I presume the synaptics drivers got screwed in the upgrade process to 1809.

Issue only happens when you update from old version of windows to 1809, not with 1809 itself.

It's not deleted but moved to C:\Windows.old\Users\NameXyz.

What is the issue exactly? Is it the gestures for the TP?

Missing controls from within Windows ......

When I started this notebook 12 weeks ago, I had the Windows TP and the Synaptic TP settings.
I started with the Administrator account, as everyone does, did some tweaks so to get comfortable with the notebook, I increased acceleration for the TP settings. Then I started a User Account.
When I moved over to the User Account, I got the 1803 update, then my TP settings, both Windows and Synaptic disappeared. Even the Synaptic TP program is gone from 'Programs And Features'....Deleted.
I know I had this program in here, when I go back to the Administrator Account, the arrow has accelerated speed compared to the User Account TP setting.

Who other than Microsoft has the capability to delete a program out of your notebook, and WHY, would they do this?
MSI still has the Synaptic TP program listed, it just wont install. Even Windows TP settings are missing the GUI.

Ah I see, you are right I've not noticed that. The gestures still work as per the video in the TP settings on the top right hand side but no way to edit them.

Broken Windows TP settings in the 1803 update.
Was there when I started the notebook, as well as the Synaptic TP settings.

This is BS .... its still in the registry!
Even a repair install didn't work.
    I'm off to the W10 Forum ... https://www.tenforums.com/
Whomever gets it working report back here and post the solution.
