    GT740 bachlight problem - PLEASE HELP

    Hi, I have an GT740 and when I started today the screen is going dark , but the backlight is very very light- the words and sybmols are darker. On the external screen everythunk is OK, the laptop is starting Windows and its all working just the screen in DARK. Just to clear- I try on another screen- the same. Where i the problem- the Inverter board or in the mainboard ? HELP PLEASE !!! I know there is the chip on mainboard for the backlight - but where is this chip ????

    First you should swap inverter after we will try with mainboard.

    Thank you for your reply. I swap the inverter- the same situation. I try with different Video Cards- the same. Try with different screens- the same. I changed the CPU, memory- everything that can be changed - I try. Only think is this chip on the mainboard controlling the backlight. Can you help me resolve this situation, I admire you like the best professional for MSI laptops, and I think you are the person who will help me . Thank you in advance.
