Welcome to the forums, It's kind of hard to understand what you are saying. It sounds like you are saying when your battery is being charged, high loads, your circuit is going off line, you said fuse, do you have a fuse or a circuit breaker? Is anything else on the circuit in your home? It could be the circuit is overloaded.

Also does the battery charge on you laptop? Is your laptop working properly?

Have you tried plugging it in elsewhere, mcdonalds, cafe, friends house, etc?

First test the adapter somewhere else. A restaurant/friend's house or somewhere you can test it is properly working. If the adapter works outside your house just fine, it means you may have a problem at home. Depending on how power is distributed in your house, you might be plugging the adapter to a circuit that is heavily loaded already, and the connection might spark a momentary inrush current enough to finish off the fuse/trip the circuit breaker.

Try another socket elsewhere in the house where little is connected to it. I had a problem on a old apartment I rented, where they connected all laundry, fridge and microwave oven to the same line. Every time you so much as connected a new bulb in that circuit, it would trip.
