Hello everyone. Would like your help on enabling gsync options on a new screen I got. I had trouble on the old one here and ordered the same exact model on Ebay. Installed it today but noticed that the Gsync options are gone. I have updated the BIOS, GPU drivers and still no avail.

Also the old setup allowed me to get to 75hz in the nvidia control panel but now it only reaches 60z. Would realy appreciate your help. :)

GPU-Z options if it might help:

Sounds to me you haven't got a G-Sync GTX980m card in. I have a modded edid inf file that will give back the 75hz for that panel though.

I do and checked it on various sources to make sure. The previous panel also had options for 75hz and Gsync. Had to replace it because it had weird bluish tint. Coul you share the file how do I implement it on my system? Thanks!

I have the same screen that had gsync enabled when I dumped the edid so it might enable gsync it might not however it will bring back 75hz refresh rate.

To use the EDID you need to restart Windows 10 with driver enforcement off to do this simple follow the below.

    1. Click the Start menu and select Settings.
    2. Click Update and Security.
    3. Click on Recovery.
    4. Click Restart now under Advanced Startup.
    5. Click Troubleshoot.
    6. Click Advanced options.
    7. Click Startup Settings.
    8. Click on Restart.
    9. On the Startup Settings screen press 7 or F7 to disable driver signature enforcement.
Once you have booted into Windows 10 after doing the above simply extract my .zip file some where on the desktop and head to the Device Manager which can be opened by pressing Win + X and selecting Device Manager.

After completing this select Monitor followed by right clicking Generic PnP and selecting Update Driver.
Now Select Browse my computer for driver software followed by Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer.

Now select the Have Disk button and point it to where you extracted the zip file. Select the .inf file and it should show the following "LG Display LGD0469 (LGD0469 EDID Override)", Click next and you'll get a warning about unsigned driver. Select the bottom option and it should now install the EDID override. Once done restart your computer and it should now be running at 75hz Refresh rate.
