Even though I'm canadian, I bought my GT 725 from amazon.com and I got it delivered in a post office in Vermont. Somewhere in this forum I saw that someone had a 160$ rebate because Windows Vista was only 32-bit compared to the 64-bit version announced on the website.

So, I decided to try to get myself a nice rebate from the customer service of amazon. I wasn't really optimistic but I sent a few emails of "anger" which is btw not my style. I had to sent 4 emails before someone replied me with something illogic but meh interesting:

We usually create a replacement order, when any item received is incorrect, I tried to cancel the replacement order and I am sorry I was unable to do so as the replacement order already entered shipping process and is estimated to be delivered by March 20, 2009.

    You have the following options:

    1) You may refuse the replacement order and keep the original order.

    2) On receipt or if the replacement order is of correct version and you prefer to keep the replacement order, you may return the original order after the replacement order arrives.

    3) If you prefer to keep the original order, we will like to offer you a refund of $204.00 which is 15% off the price.

Now I know that option 1 and 3 are in the same category but I opted of course for the number 3. So I'm the happy owner of a GT725 for only 1050$!!

I suggest that everyone should try this because thats one of the best bargain I've ever had!

I just got a response from them as well, they offered me 10% ($135). I accepted mainly because I don't have the time to send it back and find a new one.
