My forum search has failed me, sadly, and I apologize for the fresh thread.

Does anyone have a list of sleeves that will fit the MST GT72? I pulled the trigger on a Cyber Monday sale on a G-219.

    The dimensions are: 16.85 x 11.57 x 1.89

These are my possibles so far:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm//301450170365

I'd love to know if anyone has any experience with them, and what else they might recommend.

    Thanks!

The laptop itself is a 17" class so all of the above are compatible and usable. :)

    Congrats on the new machine!

They should all work, i think it would really come down to how you want to carry it, weather shoulder strap, handle or inside of something else. I prefer backpacks for carrying them but just personal preference. Let us know once you get that new beast!

Thanks! My concern is that the laptop is almost 2 inches thick, which - in my experience - often means that the sleeve will stretch beyond recognition with the laptop, making it hard to insert/remove.

Since you all are putting the IC Diamond on it, you'll be the first to know :D. I've pasted plenty of laptop heat sinks, but I've never worked with IC7 and I hear it can be a little trickier. I figure, this way the work is covered under your warranty. :D

If money is not a major concern, check out sfbags.com. Their products are top notch and they will make a sleeve that FITS! I got one for my Surface Pro 3 and am going to get one for the GT72 along with a cargo bag.

You are right, It's possible that a smaller bag may not hold the notebook because it could be intended for ultrabook so double check the spec to make sure before making any purchase decision.
