    GT72 Dominator Pro G-034 6th Gen Driver help

    Hi all, I am the proud owner of the new GT72 Dominator Pro G 6th Gen -034 and trying to locate the drivers to download. My exact model and specifications as shown below:
    • 17.3" FHD IPS Matte Screen
    • Intel® Skylake i7-6700HQ
    • NVIDIA® GTX 980M [4GB]
    • 24GB RAM
    • 256GB M.2 SSD + 1TB HDD

    I searched the threads here and on MSI forums but couldnt get an exact answer so trying here. I reached out to MSI Technical Support which responded for the drivers I need to use the GT72 Dominator Pro G Heros 4K model which doesnt seem correct since I dont have the 4K display etc. The link they provided is below for reference and again, my model is 034. Is this the same device driver wise, how about BIOS etc?

    In conclusion, I am confused why I go to the drivers section for my model and only find various versions of the Help Desk software as linked here:

    you need to set your country to global/English search for your laptop. All the drivers are there

    If I change to Global / English I wont see the model that indicates (6th Generation) but the specifications cover 4k models and other options. Since it isnt specific to my model, will the BIOS and all drivers work for my model as well? I am confused on why tech support sent me a link to their 4k heros model and why the English download for my specific model doesnt have anything more than Help Desk? I do appreciate the help and quick responces!!

    Everything seems to work perfectly but I want to make sure all my drivers are up to date etc., especially for Nvidea and Killer Wireless etc. Thanks again!

    I've been on here trying to solve my 950 pro SSD compatibility problem so you lucked out lol. believe me the MSI site is a little wacky for people who lives in the states.
    For example my gt72 019 also says gt72 6qd on the laptop sticker by keyboard.
    I was able to find the 6qd model under the drivers section. It should be the same for yours
