    GT70 mic plug in doesnt pick up any sound

    hello,

    my msi gt70 mic plug in doesnt seem work with any mic i use, realtek would recognize that a device has been plugged in but it wont pick up any sound and instead the built in mic picks up all the sounds and doesnt stop working, now of course i tried disabling the built in mic but with no results and still any plugged in mic wont pick up any sound. im not sure if its a software issue or something to do with the hardware. Any help is appreciated and thank you.
