    GT70 SSD upgrade for windows 10

    Hi guys :D

    So i just got myself a samsung 850 evo and installed it in my GT70 0ND. Originally, I planned to do a clean install to windows 10 from 8.1 once my upgrade arrives. However, I don't think the free upgrade would allow me to do clean install in the new ssd. So, I'm thinking about doing a reinstall of my windows 8.1 in my ssd first, then upgrade from there. Is there anyway to reinstall just the OS into the new ssd? I'm also open to other suggestions about ways to upgrade as well

    Thanks in advance your help :)

    ps. I don't have the recovery disc and I don't wanna have to clone my HDD

    You can only use recovery discs to reload the OS.
    Put the old HDD back and generate the discs first, and then swap to SSD.
    You will be able to perform Win10 upgrade from 8.1.

    Could you show me how to reload the OS? From what I know there is no option to install windows from a recovery disc :(
    Sorry for being a noob at this.
