My current laptop took a digger yesterday and the MSI seems to offer really good specs for the money. I've just started playing Wildstar and am having a blast but wanted to make sure this model was capable of playing it at decent settings (dont expect to max it at 1080 but that sure would be nice). If not, is there another MSI model that would be better at a similar price point (noticed there is a model with the 290x)? I only play MMOs (too old and slow for FPS I guess).

Edit: model in question is the 1886 with 4810MQ and 870m.

    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 870M - NotebookCheck.net Tech

"Therefore, the 870M is just slightly slower than the GTX 680MX and the Radeon R9 M290X. The GPU has enough power to run demanding games of 2013/2014 (e.g. Battlefield 4 or Thief) fluently in FullHD resolution and very high detail settings"

You should be fine, 870m is among the most powerful mobile solutions available and should give you excellent performance. Additionally the 4810MQ is probably the better cpu for gaming without breaking your wallet.
